Advance tickets for long distance trains in Thailand can be bought either 30 days or 180 days in advance, depending on the distance you want to travel on a particular train. For example, if you are taking a train all the way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, then you can book up to 180 days in advance. If you are only going as far as Nakhon Sawan, which is 33% of the route, you can only book up to 30 days in advance. Enter your intended travel date below to see when booking opens for your journey.
