TIPS: Generally, long distance trains on the Northern, Northeastern, and Southern lines depart from Krung Thep Aphiwat. All trains on the Eastern line, and commuter trains, excursion trains, and some short distance ordinary trains, depart from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong). Trains to Kanchanaburi and ordinary trains to the upper Southern Line depart from Thon Buri.
